Lindsay H. Yoshitomi joined Simas & Associates, Ltd. in October 2015.  She operates primarily out of our Sacramento office.

Ms. Yoshitomi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Management from the University of Arizona, and a Masters in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She went on to pursue a Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific.

Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Yoshitomi was a Marketing Coordinator at a large architectural, engineering, and consulting firm. There, she was the marketing lead on multiple multimillion dollar projects, facilitating the proposal and capture planning process.

In her present position, Ms. Yoshitomi provides clients with proactive and useful solutions to complex legal issues in administrative, employment, contract, and licensing matters. Her high success rate has led to unprecedented wins against the United States Department of Agriculture and the United States Olympic Committee, to name a few. Her stellar research skills and ability to craft a winning argument, have made her an asset to this firm. Ms. Yoshitomi is dedicated to her clients, and her dedication and enthusiasm can be seen in the results.

In her spare time, Ms. Yoshitomi is quite the avid nail art blogger. Her blog, Lacquered Lawyer (www.lacqueredlawyer.com), has been gaining recognition in the beauty industry since she started it in 2014. Ms. Yoshitomi was interviewed by Nail It! Magazine as one of their featured “Blogger You Should Know.” She has also been featured on the cover of the digital edition of Nail Art Gallery Magazine in October 2015 and November 2016.

Ms. Yoshitomi is licensed to practice in the state of California and is a member of the American Bar Association, Barrister’s Club of the Sacramento County Bar Association, and a Volunteer Attorney for the Animal Legal Defense Fund.
