Rachelle Allison-Lamb attended California State University, Chico where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Legal Studies. While attending CSUC, Ms. Allison-Lamb was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha, Political Science Honor Society. She also received the first place award in the Moot Court Competition. After successfully completing a one-year internship at the Community Legal Information Center, Ms. Allison-Lamb received her Paralegal Certificate.

In her prior employment position, Ms. Allison-Lamb was an Assistant Manager who oversaw 30 employees and the daily operations of a $2.2 million franchise. Ms. Allison-Lamb earned multiple managerial certifications including Effective Management Practices, Advanced Shift Management, and Basic Shift Management.

Ms. Allison-Lamb joined our law firm as a Paralegal in 2012.  In her initial role, Ms. Allison-Lamb wore a variety of hats, serving as the back-up to the Senior Paralegal, primary file clerk, primary receptionist, and back-up to the then Firm Administrator and Billing Coordinator. That varied experienced assisted her gain a solid foundation and understanding in how Simas & Associates, Ltd. operates; on behalf of its clients, as an employer, and as a business.

That exposure helped her mature into a full-time paralegal, capable of assisting all attorneys in each of our practice areas. She prepares files for conferences and hearings, as well as manages the firm’s trial calendar. She also works closely with attorneys on all Employment Law and Veterinary Medicine Law matters.

In mid-2016, Ms. Allison-Lamb was promoted to Law Firm Administrator. In this role, she currently oversees Simas & Associates’ daily operations. This includes Accounts Payable/Receivable, Human Resources, Client Service, and Business Development.
