Virginia Lambing

Paralegal

Virginia Lambing joined our Sacramento office as a Paralegal in 2017. She obtained her B.A. in English Linguistics from California State University – Sacramento in 2011, and went on to receive her A.A. in Paralegal Studies from MTI College in 2014.

Prior to coming on board with Simas & Associates, Ltd., Ms. Lambing worked for several years as a Political Reporting Specialist with a law firm in downtown Sacramento. As a Specialist, Ms. Lambing handled political compliance and bookkeeping for Political Action, Ballot Measure, and Independent Expenditure Committees. She also prepared political reports for Major Donors, Lobby Firms, and Lobbyists for filing with the Secretary of State. This position taught her the intricacies of client management, the value of exceptional client service, and the invaluable skill of managing and meeting large deadlines.

Before that, Ms. Lambing worked as a receptionist and legal secretary to two solo-practitioner family law attorneys in Sacramento. In this position she was responsible for booking initial consultations, taking client phone calls, basic billing, and managing the two busy court schedules of her attorneys.

In her spare time, Ms. Lambing trains in Olympic-style weightlifting and dabbles in creative lettering. On Saturday mornings she can be found at Yoga In The Park, and on Sunday in her apartment, watching football. In 2016 she formed a book club with some of her closest friends and, since then, is always in the middle of a new book.
