May 10 – Look Both Ways – Intersection of Criminal and Administrative Law

The Administrative Law Section of the Sacramento County Bar Association has a monthly luncheon at Blue Prynt Restaurant and Bar (815 11th Street, Sacramento, California).  Its luncheon next month will be on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Noon.  A copy of the flyer is attached.

The monthly luncheons feature a guest speaker.  Next month’s guest speaker will be Administrative Law Judge Sunny Lo.  ALJ Lo has presided over cases before the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and the Unemployment Appeals Board for 20 years. Prior to that, he served as Senior University Counsel in the California State University’s Office of General Counsel, and before that as a Deputy County Counsel in Kern County. He was a past president of the Orange County Asian American Bar Association and has been an adjunct professor of Administrative Law at both Chapman University School of Law and Western State University College of Law.  ALJ Lo will be talking about the intersection of Criminal Law and Professional Licensing Law.
