We hope this message finds your families safe and healthy during this difficult time.

At Simas & Associates, we are working hard during this health crisis to assist our clients with their ongoing legal matters. While many things have been postponed or rescheduled, each day we still receive calls from those who need advice or assistance. And we are open, working from home offices, and ready to assist.

You may already be aware of recent Orders from our community leaders but we wanted to send you the attached copies of the signed Orders numbers 3 (regarding suspension of evictions) and 4 (regarding mandatory shelter at home), which the County San Luis Obispo has issued as an update to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We have also included the Sacramento County Order, as well.

We realize the enormous impact these orders have on your lives, business, co-workers, clients and families and, at the same time, we appreciate all that the community leaders are doing for our communities to help us minimize the risks, and maximize our chances of navigating safely through this health crisis. We understand that these decisions were not made lightly, but are aware of their harsh impact and costs to each of us.

We want to inform you that while we have limited in person contact during this time of mandated social distancing by the authorities, Simas & Associates, Ltd., is here willing and ready to work to help you with any legal issues that may arise. Please feel free to call or email us any time.  All of our attorneys, paralegals and staff are working from home and are available for your needs, and our phones are open during business hours. If there is anything our firm can do to help your business or family, please don’t hesitate to call. We remain ready and available to assist you via telephone, email or videoconference.

We appreciate the trust you place in us to assist you in your legal needs and we will continue to be available for all of your business and family’s needs.
