Katherine A. Porter brings over 25 years of legal experience to Simas & Associates, LLP, where she represents licensed professionals in regulatory investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and administrative hearings.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Porter practiced with Nossaman LLP, a prominent California law firm, where she represented cities, counties, and public agencies in complex litigation and advisory matters. Her experience in both federal and state courts provides her with deep insight into how government and regulatory boards operate, allowing her to advocate effectively for her clients.
Ms. Porter earned her Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor of the UCLA Law Review, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, cum laude, from Connecticut College. She is admitted to practice in California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
