Attorney

Daniel J. Tatick joined Simas & Associates, Ltd. in July 2016.  He operates primarily out of our San Luis Obispo office.

Mr. Tatick obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Law from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, and a Masters in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.  Mr. Tatick then earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego where he received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and graduated at the top of his class.

Shortly after passing the California Bar Exam, Mr. Tatick joined a well-known personal injury firm in Newport Beach, California, as an associate trial attorney.  In his role of associate trial attorney, Mr. Tatick gained invaluable knowledge and experience into all aspects of the litigation arena, which included taking a number of cases to verdict.

Mr. Tatick has put his significant background in litigation to work as a zealous advocate for his clients.  His driving force is to continue to fight for everyday people.  Mr. Tatick takes the time to get to know his clients on a personal level and understands the importance of educating his clients about the law so they can make informed decisions about their own legal matters.  He values trust and good communication as the foundation for a successful attorney-client relationship.  Whether he is involved in claims investigation, settlement negotiations, trial preparation, or inside the courtroom, Mr. Tatick brings his significant legal knowledge, compassion, and strong work ethic to each case and client he represents.

Mr. Tatick is licensed to practice in the state of California and is a member of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association.
