On June 29, 2017, Justin D. Hein of Simas & Associates, Ltd. and Hon. Erin Koch-Goodman of the Office of Administrative Hearings will be presenting an Introduction to Administrative Law to the Barristers Club of Sacramento.
The presentation will provide some basics of administrative regulatory practice and administrative hearing practice. It will then focus, specifically, on matters considered by the Office of Administrative Hearings and some of the complexities attorneys and administrative law judges face.
Erin R. Koch-Goodman has been an Administrative Law Judge with the Sacramento regional office of the Office of Administrative Hearings since December 2014 . ALJ Koch-Goodman received her bachelor's degree from California State University, Sacramento in Communication Studies. ALJ Koch-Goodman received her juris doctorate degree from McGeorge School of Law. ALJ Koch-Goodman also holds a master's degree from George Mason University in Employment, Labor Relations and Public Policy.
Porter Scott (350 University Avenue, Suite 200, Sacramento, CA 95825) is graciously hosting the presentation over the lunch hour (12:00 PM to 1:00 PM). Pricing ranges from $20 to students, $35 for Barrister Club members, to $40 for non-members.
