Congratulations to Simas & Associates, Ltd. Managing Attorney, Justin D. Hein, for his recent admission into the California Academy of Attorneys for Health Care Professionals (CAAHCP). Mr. Hein was admitted on February 2, 2015 after applying in mid-November 2014.
The California Academy of Attorneys for Health Care Professionals is a by-invite-only organization of preeminent attorneys dedicated to representing health care professionals in administrative proceedings including before state and federal licensing boards, and credentialing and privileges proceedings. It has a strict membership review process to ensure that its membership consists of private practice attorneys who focus their practice on health care law involving peer review and professional health care licensing board discipline. The group communicates regularly, sharing information about unique experiences, arguments, and legal techniques to assist their clients and expand the knowledge-base of all members. The group also has bi-annual conferences, business meetings, and continuing education programs throughout the state of California. The first conference for 2015 is later this month in San Francisco.
