“I was not surprised,” said Steven L. Simas, owner and founder of Simas & Associates, Ltd. “Our law firm has experienced consistent growth for the past 6 years. All the while, new and seasoned members of the law firm have confronted a menagerie of client challenges, wants, and goals. And we have done so while keeping the clients happy and on board, even when presented with aggressive tactics by opposing counsel or changes in the law.”

Simas & Associates, Ltd. is a boutique law firm, with services focused on administrative law. Those services cover professional licensing, healthcare law, employment investigations, as well as more general contract and business law. It has been in operation since 2002 and has grown to include offices in Sacramento (its headquarters), San Luis Obispo (since 2005), Santa Rosa (since 2015), and San Diego (since 2016).

“The Law Firm 500 Award is an honor for our firm to receive and a tribute to our team,” continued Simas. “Of course, we could not have achieved this truly remarkable accomplishment without our devoted team members. To Justin Hein, Daniel Tatick, Julianne Allen, Virginia Lambing, Rachelle Allison-Lamb, Ryan Costello, and Tracy Monasterio, I say, ‘thank you.’ Each of you, in your own way, has individually contributed to making this possible. But more important, by coming and working together you made it all but inevitable.”
