Michael J. Bridge joined Simas & Associates in January of 2018. Michael practices out of our Sacramento office focusing on Administrative Law, Professional Licensing Law, and Civil Litigation. He is an effective advocate on behalf of professionals and businesses navigating difficult bureaucratic issues.
Prior to joining Simas & Associates, Michael ran a solo practice in San Francisco helping entrepreneurs with business entity selection and formation. Before moving to California, Michael taught legal research and writing to foreign-trained LL.M. students at George Washington University Law School. Growing up outside Washington, D.C., Michael developed a deep interest in policy and legal affairs.
As an undergraduate at St. John’s College he wrote a senior thesis on the political discourse of the Federalist Papers. While a law student at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Michael worked as a research assistant focusing on environmental issues related to the city’s recovery efforts. After law school, Michael returned to Washington and earned an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from George Washington University.
Michael believes in open communication and strives to listen to clients and adversaries alike in pursuit of reaching positive results. Whatever the issue at hand, Michael uses every effort to see that reason carries the day.
Michael is licensed to practice in California and is a member of the Sacramento Bar Association.
